Happy Spring Everyone! I started dipping my hands into crocheting for the last few months and so far, I am absolutely loving it. I ran into a gorgeous pattern on Etsy from KnitsNKnotsWpg using Lion Brand Truboo Yarn and thought I would do a review for you in case you are on the fence.
Truboo yarn is a weight 3 and is made from 100% bamboo, making it perfect for lightweight projects. For me, it felt more on the lighter side of weight 3 yarn. The yarn comes in a wide variety of colors and has a slight sheen to it. Unlike 100% cotton or cotton blend yards, it didn’t split while crocheting. Splitting is a huge pet peeve of mine with cotton yard. Truboo is bamboo which held up well together throughout the process.

Lion Brand Truboo Yarn worked up really well for this Granite Yoke Pride Tee I made. This pattern used the moss (linen) stitch which was seamless with this yarn. Truboo paired with the moss stitch almost looks knitted. The yarn is a bit on the pricy side but for a small project, you don’t really need that much yardage. I used about 3 skeins of white for this top.

Well, I hope this Lion Brand Truboo Yarn Review gave you some more information to decide on whether this yarn would work for your next project. Have fun crocheting!
