How to make a simple dress

Hey Everyone! It seems like its the season for dresses. I did this tutorial for All Free Sewing last week and wanted to share it with you. This is tutorial is how to make a simple dress. Seriously, you cannot get easier than this. This literally took me under an hour to make. I would have done it in 30 minutes if my 4 year old wasn’t begging to help me. You can scale this dress up to make it in an adult size. It uses knit fabric which means no hemming and fraying. With knits, you are also allowed to not be so perfect in your pattern as the fabric stretches giving you some room to make mistakes. Try this simple tutorial this summer, it’s the perfect project for both beginners and experts.

The fabric I used for this dress is from Riley Blake Designs Wildflower Hedgehog in Multi Knit. It is the perfect spring fabric for a little girl.
